Miniature Horse Driving Clinic
Sunday, March 8th, 10:00 am to 2:00 pm
Due to the popularity of our last Miniature Horse Driving Clinic, I am offering a second one on Sunday, March 8th. Driving and handling Miniature Horses is a lot of fun! This 4-hour course includes instruction on how to harness and hitch the horse to the cart and the basics of driving. Lots of hands on experience. Each participant will get an opportunity to drive the minis. Our minis are well schooled and “bombproof”. Open to participants from 10 years of age to adults. No previous driving experience necessary. Hard hats and gloves required and HCBC membership.

Riding Lesson Program
Space is available in our beginner lesson program and for experienced hunter and dressage riders. Our mission is to produce an all-around horseperson who has an understanding of the psychology and behaviour of the horse and is able to use that knowledge to help foster mutual respect and trust, both under saddle and from the ground. In addition to jumping, dressage and basic horsemanship lessons, we offer clinics in longeing, stable management/horse care, round penning & show grooming throughout the school year and in our summer camps.
Our students also have the opportunity to ride the trails through Horth Hill Park during lessons. Students who have reached an acceptable level of proficiency are able to take the school horses to local hack and hunter shows. HCBC membership is required. |
To register for any of the above courses call Kathy at 250-544-0737.
