Horse Packing & Backcountry Skills Seminar with Shain Boon at Hi-Point Guest Ranch in Duncan. Saturday, March 19th, 1 - 5pm. Learn the basic skills required for packing on horses into the backcountry. This seminar will consist of approximately two hours of classroom time talking about the theory of packing, equipment, considerations, etc. and practicing on a dummy horse. The second half of the afternoon will be in the indoor arena practicing on a live horse. There will be lots of time for questions and discussion, and then we will end the afternoon with a short draft horse driving demo, just for a little extra fun!
