Dressage clinic TopNotchWarmbloods is proud to host a clinic with Hiltrud Mohrmann from Germany October 2nd, 3rd and 4th 2015.
Hiltrud is a very accomplished Rider and Coach.She grew up with horses at her home in Germany and as a young person trained and showed homebred horses in Dressage.Knowing this is what she wanted to do in life, Hiltrud rode for 10 years with the late Dr. Rainer Klimke from 1978 to 1987. In 1988 Hiltrud and her husband spend a year in South Korea to train and prepare their top dressage riders for the Olympics. Coming back from Korea Hiltrud and her Husband Bernd opened a Training Facility in Rastede and later in Riesenbeck , in Oldenburg , the cradle of horses in Germany, and trained many horses to the top level of Grand Prix, taking a great no. of them to the Bundeschampionat . Hiltrud took many horses and showed them in Grand Prix in her lifetime and still does. She also has a passion for 3 day eventing and competed all the way to the S-Level ( 4 th level ) in it.Some of her achievements are earning the " Goldene Reiterabzeichen" as well as becoming a member of the German B2 Kader in 2002. A Freestyle Design Clinic with Karen Robinson from Applause Dressage. In this two day clinic, riders and auditors will learn how to determine the tempo of their horse’s gaits, how to select music that fits all three gaits and design the choreography that not only meets the technical requirements for your level but also highlights your horse’s strengths. Horses and riders of all levels are welcome (even if you don't compete) and the clinic is open to everyone to audit. It will be held at Hunt Valley Farm in Victoria. Progress Days Clinic with Devanee Cardinal. Develop your skills and partnership with your horse online, at liberty, riding freestyle, and riding finesse. Spend one day focussing on each savvy. The limit will be 9 riders in the clinic thus providing lots of opportunities for individualized instruction and support. Whatever your experience, whatever your discipline, Devanee will help you improve your horsemanship, both on the ground and in the saddle. Auditors are welcome but must pre-register. Karen Pavicic will be at Bonita Stables in Victoria for a two day clinic. Karen has had a very successful competition season in 2015 beginning with many top ten placings at the Global Dressage Festival in Florida before heading to Europe where she competed at some of the most exclusive shows. In 2014, Karen competed for Canada at the World Equestrian Games in France then went on to win the Grand Prix Champion at the Royal Winter Fair in Toronto.
